When I went to school in Dallas, we would average one "snow" day a year. It wasn't really snow. It could be better defined as a slushy rain. But as good Texans, no one in Dallas knew how to drive in adverse weather... so we would get a free day off of school to scrape "snow" off of the cars and fence posts in our attempts to create a muddy snowman.
Now finding myself a "Denverite," I have experienced my first (mild) Colorado winter. However, the few times it has snowed it has put the Dallas snow days to shame. And of course, school has gone on.
After three weeks of gorgeous March weather, Denver teachers and students finally got their winter dream. It began snowing sometime last night with some heavy winds, and as I look out my window it is still snowing. And yes, we got a well-deserved "snow day." In like a lamb, out like a lion...
Snow days are awesome. A free day of sorts. I have done all the laundry, read, baked, spent time with Eric, practiced yoga, and packed for my trip... because did I mention? Spring Break starts tomorrow afternoon :)

Here's a Real Moment Brought to You Courtesy of My Quite Imperfect Self
I'm feeling very overwhelmed.
Sometimes I wish life was neat. Somewhere back in early adolescence I thought that someday life would get easy, and I would be smooth sailing.
haha.
Lots of good things are happening now and are on the horizon.
We close on our house on March 13th.
Sierra Leone is getting closer and closer.
I love my crazy, busy job.
Church is great.
But I feel overwhelmed. Your prayers are appreciated!
